Outsourcing Re-imagined for the Win
In its 18th year, The Outsourcing World Summit® is the premier event devoted to educating sourcing professionals on the latest trends and best practices shaping the industry today and into the future. With more than 800 participants, the Summit is the industry’s best-attended conference where attendees network with peers, earn certification credits and influence the direction of the industry as it continues to evolve.
We’re being inundated with a stream of new technologies and innovative approaches from shared-services to cloud sourcing, insourcing to hybrid sourcing, automation to service integration that challenge the very principles on which organizations operate as well as present unparalleled growth opportunities. Traditional outsourcing relationships have developed into strategic partnerships. Now more than ever, collaboration is key.
As we build the Outsourcing World Summit for 2015, our goal is to create a balanced program that addresses this fast-paced industry’s latest trends and meets the variety of skill levels and interest levels of the conference audience, presented by speakers of the highest quality who represent the diversity of IAOP’s membership.
IAOP® has a tradition of using educational conference sessions as a platform for innovation and we count on you, our members, to help us pave the way.
We are looking for contributors to showcase their expertise in the spirit of networking and knowledge-sharing, a purpose for which IAOP was founded. Of course, submissions from our members are given priority consideration.
Be part of a growing team of experts who are recognized as thought leaders in the industry!
Guidelines for Submitting a Proposal
Presentations must deliver specific actionable solutions to current challenges faced by industry professionals. Suggestions include presentations that feature new ideas, approaches and opportunities; case studies by buyers, featuring actual experiences and the lessons learned; content that addresses the needs of organizations in the middle of their outsourcing journey, including tools and how-to content.
All presentations must be built around three concrete learning objectives – these objectives must be reflected in the session description/abstract and all formal speaker-attendee communications prior to and at the Summit. This will ensure that attendees of each session receive the following takeaways: 1) Written content/notes around each learning objective, 2) A PowerPoint presentation that supports these objectives 3) Audio of the presentation that they can reference after the conference (IAOP will be recording each session for this purpose.).
IAOP Presentation Guidelines/Speaker Agreement
If your session is selected, adherence to IAOP’s Presentation Guidelines and Speaker Agreement will be required for each speaker. In addition, all accepted final PowerPoint presentations will be reviewed by a program subcommittee of Certified Outsourcing Professionals to ensure that all sessions meet the guidelines and fit the program.
Deadlines and Dates
The deadline for submissions is now July 15, 2014. You will be notified by the week of August 1, 2014 if your proposal has been selected. Due to the amount of submissions only those selected will be notifies. All presenters attend the Summit as IAOP’s guest and are invited to an exclusive speakers’ reception at the Summit on Sunday evening, February 15, 2015.
